Beddington House
This house is particularly interesting because a bridge with custom metal railings was built to passover and through the living room and front entry to the master bedroom.
The task for this retirement vacation home was to:
- locate on a low lying double lot, addressing flood plain concerns relatively close to the lake;
- create an informal style with clipped gables and a soaring post & beam living area;
- plan an open concept with all principal rooms having a view of the lake;
- finish with simple custom details.
The work was all undertaken with the client remaining in Europe with one site visit during construction.
